Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an Hollywood actor and writer Her talent has gained the attention of critics and recognition. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's the eldest of three siblings, born to Peter Moore Smith who was an Army paratrooper. Her mother Anne works as a psychotherapist. Her heritage is English-Scottish. Because of her father's work, the Moore family was often moved and she had to work hard to make friendships or maintain ones. When her family moved to Germany Moore attended Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in performances. She continued her education at Boston University where she graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. A thesis on Theater. Moore started her theater career off Broadway at New York, after she graduated. In an episode of The Edge of Night in 1985, Moore made her debut appearance on screen. The break came in 1986 in which she was cast as the character as Sabrina Hughes as well as Frannie Hughes on As the World Turns. She stayed on this show between 1988 and 1990, and received a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she made her acting debut as an actor in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. In the following years, she said it was an low-budget film. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) included among her movies. Her performance in the critically-acclaimed Short Cuts (1993) earned her several nominations. Moore had her debut main character on screen in Safe(1995). The actress' career was at a crossroads after Steven Spielberg cast her to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which became one of the top-grossing films in 1997. She was a part of Magnolia (1999) and was critically acclaimed, and earned a SAG nomination for her part. Most recently, she starred in the role of the main character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). In Hollywood She has also established herself as a writer for kids. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and became a N.Y.T. Bestseller. It was later adapted into series and a music. The year 2013 saw her release Her Mom is A Foreigner. Moore has a public life as a renowned writer and actress. In 1984, she got married to John Robin and in 1995 the couple divorced. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her kids.
